Daphne Edition Variance 1

A large form print- depicting a pivotal study in evolutionary biology. A research group lead by Peter and Rosemary Grant studied natural selection finches on the tiny island of Daphne in the Galapagos. They discovered that when ecologies change (rain, heat, food, etc.) new species can emerge in a matter of generations. In the case of Galapagos finches, novel beak shapes can manifest in response to different seed availability. This print depicts this dynamic. 32 inches by 32 inches- printed on Rives art paper. The print has been accented with watercolor. Unmounted and unframed print.
