Braarudosphaera Sculpture 1
Coccolithophores are beautiful, oxygen-generating single-celled oceanic creatures that build composite exoskeletons out of calcium. Braarudosphaera is a particularly interesting form- basically an assemblage of hexagonal plates. This representation of a coccolithophore is hand sculpted in porcelain, and sagger-fired.
