Harbor Seal Planter 1

Imagine the tree, vine or towering rainforest plant that you could grow in this 26-inch, wheel thrown planter. The vessel is decorated with bas-relief harbor seal designs, and surfaced with an organic, multi-hued array of glazes. The main vessel features a 1.5 inch drainage hole, and a waterproof ceramic catchment basin is included (as shown in photos). The planter’s surfacing is weather-proof… I’ve kept this specific planter outdoors through the entire cycle of a Northern Idaho year, encompassing sub-zero temperatures, heavy snow and rain, and 106 degree summer conditions. It can serve as a resilient example of garden art, or an indoor centerpiece.
